I'm incredibly thin... 80 pounds....But I'm 22. I was always thin, and after I had my child I lost 30 pounds. I suffered terrible depression since, dealing with my body image. I look like a 14 year old mother. If I dress up I look like a 14 year old playing dress up.
But just lately have I come to realization that I am beautiful because the Lord Almighty who has create the sunset, the ocean, the wondrous creatures, the moons, and the diamonds in the sky that we call stars...also created me. He made me with perfection. I am perfect in His eyes. I still have insecurities, but now I realize that I'm just fine the way I am... Stick figure or not. I pray that my daugther never thinks negatively about her image, because she is breathtakingly beautiful.
For all you girls out there that think otherwise about your body, know that you are beautiful within yourself. God made you, therefore you must be beautiful. Every girl is a princess..and thanks ... I needed this site so bad because I am doing a school project.. My topic is self esteem. this helped out a lot!
