my name is Katelyn and i have a friend named Josh. he is a cutter. i had a crush on him scene 5th grade and were in 9th, so if you can count that's 4 years of crushing on him. anyways the day he started cutting he seemed happy. i knew better than that cus i used to cut as well. he showed me what he used and it looked like a soda tab. i thought thats sad if people go through such extremes just to hurt themselves. i wanted to know why he was cutting himself but when he told me i was shocked. he said he did it because he was lonely. that made me sad. i mean i liked this dude for so long and he felt all alone. he is still cutting and ive tried everything and nothing has worked i mean my last resort is taking him to the looney bin and i am not going to do that to him

if you have done everything to do to try and help him and it has not prevailed then you need to talk to trustworthy adult about it

it doesnt have to be a counsleor from school.
i honestly think that you shuld tell his parents first

i dont think that i would have stopped cutting myself if i sum1 wouldnt have told my parents for me

at first i felt betrayed but then oi realized that one of my friends, whoever it was, told my mom that i used to cut bcuz they were only trying to help me

you should also try to convince him to join a few fun clubs at skool

just pray for him

god will always come through for you when you have faith in him

That's unbelievable. First, you could tell him you like him, then tell him you'll always be there for him. I think that would be an extreme challenge though. You should tell an adult, even your parents, or his. Then pray, pray, pray. And ask others to pray. I know one girl that will. (Me)
