A Guy's Perspective

First, let me say that I'm a 29-year-old guy. Normally, I wouldn't share on a site like this, since it seems geared toward teenage girls, and I respect the boundaries of such a ministry. But because a female friend posted a link to the skit above, I thought I would share something short that moved me incredibly.

For all you girls out there who are tempted to put this world above Jesus and give in to the lies it sells, please think about the people you don't even know yet, especially the young men, you can have a tremendous influence on; your future husbands and sons and the people God will bring to you years from now.

It may seem that men are the bad guys and the ones influencing young women to sin and fall away from God, but speaking from personal experience, for every Eve that takes a bite from the apple of sin, an Adam eats too because he cannot bear to be alone without the one he loves. Your choices can negatively impact the lives of countless others, particularly the men who love you, or will love you in the future, and your choices now will set events in motion so damaging you cannot believe the end result.

So, put God first. Stay pure and true to God and yourself, or ask God to renew what sin has stolen from you. It just may mean salvation and eternal life to billions who follow you, or it could mean sin and death entering the world and following behind you.
