It was actually my current boyfriend who led me to modesty, when we first started going on dates two summers ago, he made a few subtle comments about my teeny bikini. Once we became official he made it clear that he wanted to be dating a woman of God, and while I had the cleavage and thigh exposure taken care of in my every day dress, he reminded me that God is equally present at a pool party. I shopped high and low and finally, while passing a racy lingerie shop in the mall, I noticed the most beautiful swim dress in the shop window. My modest bathing suit is a hit and my boyfriend is extremely pleased to show off a girl who doesn't show off herself.

you shouldn't change because someone else wants you to, if you felt comfortable how you were dressing at tthe pool, why shouldnt you now?

Sometimes changing for other people is a good thing, such as in this instance. He taught her that God is present everywhere. She also said that she was already modest in everyday dress. So, her boyfriend didn't change her, just helped her become more modest in swimwear by pointing out her immodest bikini.
BTW, I really like the idea of a swimdress. I bet it is cute!!
