beautiful scars

i know i am so beautiful. i love my face, my features..i love them so much. but i cannot accept the scars that acne left on my face.

why cant i accept them? its killing me softly...

I know it's hard, believe me I do. I can't accept things about me. But think of it this way, those are your battle scars. you fought with those horrible zits the only way you knew how...Did you read Shelley's story? She has acne scars too and one night she revealed them to the world without any makeup to cover them. And her husband didn't notice a thing! Your family, friends, etc love you because you are YOU! They couldn't care less about those scars and neither should you! So the next time you look in that mirror, be proud of those scars and focus on the physcical features you do like! Pray that God will give you inner peace about your body and that He will help you to love yourself!

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." 1 Peter 3:3-4
