I'm glad to have seen the video about the Advent Conspiracy. I am almost 21 years old and in the past couple of years of maturing, I have disliked Christmas a little more each year. I suppose it is because with my maturity, I am at an age where I am included in advertiser's target audience to persuade to materialize Christmas. Christmas used to be my favorite, but a few years ago when I really began to notice the stress that is put upon buying gifts to show others how much you care about them, has made me feel like little Cindy Lou Who from the Grinch. The Advent Conspiracy video has motivated me to be more purposeful with the upcoming Christmas, and perhaps create new Christmas traditions that focus more on the beauty of the story of the son of God coming into this wicked world, all for love. Thank you Shelley!!! You are always such an encouragement!
