Discovery

So after coming home from a wonderful sermon, I had the greatest idea to look up one of my favourite scenes ever! Burning Bush from the movie Prince of Egypt. I HAVE TO share the sermon with u, in a nutshell. If u know the Moses story (if u dnt u can go watch Prince of Egypt in parts on youtube totally free and if u hav flow hi speed internet it will b like watchin a str8 movie) you know that he had some nice yrs as a royal prince (14 2 b exact) then he was thrown in2 the wilderness due 2 certain circumstances of course. He was immediately taken from his comfort zone, his "AC room" as my preacher called it and thrown in2 a hot dry place, sleepin on ground an old those uncomfortable things.

now if u were in tht position, how many of u wud turn and say OH GOD WHY ME!!! ye i kno, i wud 2. but thats wrong. God wud simply say 2 us:

Y ARE U CRYING? Y R U WORRYIN? DO U NT TRUST ME? I SAID THAT I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, PLANS 2 PROSPER U N NEEEVVEEERRR TO HARM YOU (Jeremiah 29:11). TRUST ME NUH? WHERE IS YOUR FAITH? U DNT KNO SEH I LOVE U???? THIS WAT U GOING THRU IS JUS HERE 2 BUILD U, 2 MAKE U STRONGER, TO PREPARE U 4 WAT IS AHEAD (LIKE HE WAS PREPARING MOSES 2 B A GREAT LEADER...HE NEEDED THIS TRAINING 2 LEAD THOSE MISERABLE PPL 2 THE PROMISED LAND WEN DEM HAFFI GO THRU D WILDERNESS AS WELL). SO REJOICE AND BE CONTENT IN UR WEAKNESSES, THE INSULTS, HARDSHIPS, PERSECUTIONS AND CALAMITIES FOR WHEN YOU ARE WEAK THEN YOU ARE STRONG (2 Corinthians 12:10)...u kno wat dat mean? we alll kno seh is wen we at our lowest n we cnt go no lower, thats wen we say alrite God wah mi fi do nw. n then in our weakness we surrender all our problems 2 God, we mek him take ovr our life and he makes us stronger.

So the message? Every1 goes thru their hard times, their wilderness struggle, but God is doing this 4 a gud reason. he is building u, He is moulding u. Do not complain wen things nt goin ur way, trust God and thank Him 4 this struggle. Know that He has a purpose for ur life that is always 4 ur gud and 2 giv u a hope and bright future so jus trus Him.

and it always makes me cry!!!! I am completely amazed at how God is soo powerful and yet so loving!! that he wud hear his ppl and come 2 deliver them?? WHO ARE WE THAT HE IS MINDFUL OF US, THAT HE HEARS US WHEN WE CALL?? God is truly amazing. To watch Him reprimand Moses for doubting Him (and I have had my fair share of doubts in my life) and after, He comes and engulfs Him in his powerful love, calls Him back like a good parent would call a child and tell them they still love them aftr they have done wrong (how many parents do that tho? did urs? God is the ultimate Daddy isnt he?!!!). His last word 2 Moses was 'I shall be with you Moses'. Indeed, He has come 2 deliver us out of this world like the Israelites and like He was with Moses UNTIL HIS DEATH, He shall be with us ALWAYS. He sent his son 2 rlly be with us. And what a privilege to have a friend in Jesus.

And this leads me 2 my discovery! I was just brimming at the message Jesus poured in2 my heart and I jus had 2 share it 2day. N those who kno me kno wen i get worked up ovr supm i rly get overly dramatic and jus AAGGHHH!!! I was so amazed at the Lord I just had 2 share it. And i shared it with 2 ppl specifically and their response was God sent me 2 them! Isnt Jesus amazing??

AND THEN I REALIZED...Wow in just over an hour that I committed myself totally 2 Him and let Him use me, I touched TWO PEOPLE! Can u believe that?? An hour! What if we gave him a whole day of our time, just committing 2 Him and seeking to please Him above ourselves, above others...can u even imagine wat that wud b like??!!!! I am 19 yrs old and i feel like i wasted alllllllll those yrs!!!! cuz i wasnt letting Jesus b my primary concern and working 4 Him! (how many yrs u been wasting?) Am i the only 1 freakin out abt this discovery here!!!?? We could transform this country if we gave over our lives 2 Him, let Him be in complete control, jus loving and desiring 2 make Jesus happy, the way He just wants us 2 b happy!!!!

And can i just tell u, that it felt sooo gud 2 b working 4 Him, idk y i let the world distract me! I am overcome with joy my friends, you cnt evn imagine!! To God b the glory, He deserves ALL the praise. I am a mere messenger, it is God working thru me. I hope I have opened your minds to the beauty of letting God into our hearts! Being just a visitor and he can do such great things? wow imagine if we jus marry Him n Him move in!!! We'd b shining from the inside out!

I want u guys 2 jus rly stop wat ur doing rite nw, the world can wait. Think about it, Jesus loves us soooo much and He calls us to love him with our whole heart and like Moses, when we trust and obey, we shall do his wonders. What have we got 2 lose?
