God’s Word (the bible verses for your study):Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Does God have a future for everyone?
Is it okay to dream big?
Is my future hopeless?
Do I even have a future?
What are my dreams for the future?


Meditate On it (What does this mean to me? How can I apply it to my own life? Suggest a verse to memorize.): This passage simply means that God has a special future for everyone. We don't need to discourage our future plans, just because others think they are unreasonable! God wants you to follow your dreams and succeed! Don't be tempted to think that your future is hopeless! Nothing is hopeless with God!

Conclusion (any final thoughts, stories): A few years ago, I thought my future was hopeless. Somehing terrible had happened and made me think that if I have a future, why is this happening? It didn't make any sense to me. Soon after, God showed me that everything works out for the best and that my future isn't hopeless. God loves you and has planned a wonderful life ahead of you!


Closing Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to be encouraged any time I feel like I don't have a future. Help me to apply this lesson to my life and help me to know that You know what's best for me. Help me to always remember that I have a wonderful life ahead of me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
