Doubts and the Rapture May 21,2011

I am a worry wart. I am constantly scared, and this stuff all over the news about Christians traveling the country and saying the rapture is happening on May 21,2011 is scaring me to death. I feel extremely guilty because I am terrified the rapture will come. I am terrified because I dont want it to come because I feel like I havent had a chance to live my life, go to college, and raise a family. I feel guilty because God wants me to be happy that he comes again. Also, the Bible says that no man can predict the end. So are they lieing? But what if they are right? Will God condemn me because I didnt want it to happen? or I was not a good enough Christian? I want to be a believer SOOO badly, and I am always seeking in my heart a way to feel completely 100% sure that God and Heaven exists, but when I feel the confidence finally, I begin to doubt again. And I fear God will not accept me into Heaven because of that. All the time I feel like I practically beg God to make me worthy enough. But I am terrified I will be left behind because of all my doubts. Please Help!

God loves you.

Don't be afraid, you are saved if you believe in Jesus and that he died on the cross for your sins to be washed away. It doesn't matter how many good things you do, because you will always mess something up, no matter how small. I've found that I haven't kept nearly any of the 10 Commandments, but that's okay because I'm not a perfect person, and Jesus saved me from trying to be. Every sin to god is the same, from gossip to murder. Since he is a just god (t wouldn't be good for a judge for a case of a rapist to send him out innocent) then he says punishment for sin is death. So Jesus came and saved us from trying to work our way to heaven because if LOVE. That is the key word. Love conquers fear.

I am just scared all the time. I worry that I will die and there will be no god. I try so hard to keep myself from doubting but I don't know how to overcome my fear. I try to talk to god about it but when I go through phases of immense doubt I practically shut him out completely.

No one knows the date of the rapture. That guy was apparently wrong. and whatever date he picks...well I'm not really believing it. But don't worry when it comes. If you're a believer then you WILL be going to heaven. I sometimes worry and have doubts as well but if you keep into the word. those worries can go away. I still sometimes doubt but don't worry. God is here. :) He really is.
