My 17 year old daughter is anorexic. Writing that down is incredibly sad and frightening. Please tell your parents or a trusted teacher if you are frightened that you can't control your eating. This is a disease that wants to hurt you. My daughter has allowed me to make all the food choices for her because she knows she can't trust the "voice" in her head. I know she struggles with this everytime she has to eat but her desire to recover is stronger than the "voice". We have only just begun this journey but with faith and resolve, I know we can win. I will be with her 24/7 to make sure that she is not tempted to do the wrong thing that the "voice" would like her to do.
