Friendship

My best friend who is basically like a sister had someone hack into her facebook. For some reason she thought it was me. She called me immature, self-centered, and more. So I had to move because of my mom's job but she knew about that and told me "Thank g-d that your FINALLY moving". That crushed my feelings and my heart. How am I suppose to protect myself from that again? Like what should i look for in friends? My brother's girlfriend helped me that night since my mom was in Florida and my sister was with her boyfriend. But now I'm not sure who to ask about this. So i figure Christian people should be able to help. So what do you guys think I should look for in great friends?

Hi Paige,
I am sorry you had to experience this with your friend. In life we get hurt it is a part of growing up no matter the age it is a part of life that will continue and all you can do is grow from it.
But if you explained that you did not do this to your friend then you did your part,you can not make her believe you she will have to do that on her own . A persons reaction is not for us to control however our response we can. Friends get mad at us from time to time it is like any other relationship in our life. But know when picking a friend make sure they trust you, believe you and are able to forgive you and you do the same. My friends and I disagree all the time and I'm 36 but we never stay mad. We say what we feel and we embrace each other feelinsg and keep it moving. Just pray about picking better and trusting friends. I wish you luck !
