As I grew up I went to a wonderful church and had an amazing friend named Nikki...we are still BFF. We talk everyday for about an hour. Then my dad became a pastor at another church and I was really upset. As I went the other church, there was a family who knew everything about everything. They were gossips like I have NEVER seen. I began to see how when they gossiped, how much it had hurt people...and how much it drove them crazy (I know it drove me NUTS! LOL!). I then realized that when me and my friend talked on the phone, that we were gossiping, and that it could really hurt others...and then bounce back to us. We have made it a rule, if we cannot say this with that person being there, we don't say it at all. I hope this helps!
