Gossiping????

I think gossiping in this time and era is very natural, people are making it apart of their lives. I know that there not a day thats gone by that I haven't gossip, but i'm going to CHANGE it because i know it wrong and i've been on the receiving end of the line and it really hurts.

God will give you strength

Dear Shenequa,

Yes gossiping is common, but that doesn't make it acceptable or good. Because you have been on the receiving end, that's why you know how it can hurt. Sometimes it is not true, and it always hurts to have people talk behind your back.

Maybe you can create a calendar and mark off each day that you go by without gossiping. That will give you motivation to keep going on.

However, I encourage you not to do it on your own strength, because we as human beings are weak. We are sinful beings and often fall to temptations. Flee from temptation, the Bible says. Rely only on God's strength to accomplish the impossible, and you will see miracles working in your life.

To make it even better, hang around people who have the same belief as you, who want to cross out gossip from their lives. Because if you keep hanging around others who gossip, you will still be part of it. Take no part in gossip, not even to listen.

I pray that God will give you strength to rise up and be strong. And when you overcome this, give all the praise and glory to God!

Gossip is a sin!

Hello dear, yes it is certainly common but it is impolite, rude, unlady like and wrong. Not only all of these things but it is a sin! Hopefully you understand what I mean. God forbids any form of gossiping. So the next time you are tempted to gossip, DONT! LOL! for real, walk away from temptation. Also, pray to God that he will seperate you from people that like to gossip and that may influence you to do things that are displeasing to God. Pray that he will deliver you from the work of the enemy and that he will set you apart and give you loyal chritian friends. Amen!
