Hair

I have a little problem that I just do not want to ask anyone else about.


Every day for the past two years, I have worn my hair in low pigtails... my mom does not like that I have worn it every day for the last two years. I really do think I look pretty with my hair down, I just do not know what others will say.. especially boys. If I pull one out to fix it, my friends gasp and beg me to wear my hair down, I just can not do it... and I am 10 years old!!! I could use some courage advise!!

God made you beautiful with or without your hair down. If you enjoy wearing pig tales then wear them, but if you want to wear your hair a different way then do it. It's totally up to you, and it really shouldn't matter what everyone else says. Maybe you could just wear it down on your birthday or something, or not at all. I wore my hair in a high pony tail every day for years, I came to the point that I didn't want to wear it down souly for all of the attention that it got me. I liked it up, so that's how I wore it.

I think you should be yourself. Who cares if the girls gasp? You should be able to express yourself without feeling weird and uncomfortable. They're the ones that aren't being very nice. I bet you look fine with out pig tails. Seriously. I've worn my hair in a pony tail, pig tails, down. I've done alot. And now I cut it short! Just be you and don't care about what those other people think...even the boys because there are people out that that really care about you and they won't freak out if you do something different with your hair. God loves you just how you are. DOn't forget that !:)
