I just would like to share what the Lord has done in my life. In 2007 i began to experience severe digestive problems where i had extremely low stomach acid that would cause me to vomit and expell almost every kind of food. There was an instance where i ate something that i was not able to digest and my entire body went numb to the point where i could not even move nor feel my eyelids and tounge. By february 2011 it became so severe that i couldnt even drink plain drinking water. In late 2008 I made the decision to get serious in my walk with Christ. I definitely became a new creature in the aspect of overcoming pride, haughtiness, refrained from immorality, and other things that i am free of thanks to the blood of Jesus. That illness caused so much hardship that people stopped inviting me places and offering me food at family gatherings. I was mocked on one occasion for this, stayed home, and never was able to set a wedding date with my fiance since that illness restricted me from normal activities and would hinder the duties of a wife. I was getting ready to throw in the towel, but i kept on beileiving. Then on february 27, 2011 I attended my congregation as usual and the Lord healed me completely of this condition, a severe and abnormal menstrual cycle, and back pain, through the co-pastor of the church! Only days later I got married, and then in April attended my brother's wedding in Maui and enjoyed and celebrated with my family. I think back to that night of my healing and in what state my mind and heart was in. I definitely went with a greater than usual amount of faith, but i also went without the pressure and anxiety of the " what if i come back home still sick? and what will my fiance do? will he keep waiting for me after 6 years of saving himself for marriage?" I wasnt even focusing on wether i was to be healed that night, i was just focusing on God. I think the key for me was trusting in God, resting in God, and putting faith in God. Praise the Lord!
