How God Used Me In My School!

I began 6th grade as the new girl. My family had just moved to a new town, where my dad, who is a pastor, planted a church. It was my first year in public school! And in middle school! Pretty scary! But I knew God wanted me to make a difference! So I prayed for a while. I looked around. Girls were crying out for attention by dressing in skimpy outfits and girls in the 6th grade were making out with guys in 8th grade--in the hallway!!! This is not how God wants His children to live. So I stepped up. After talking to my choir teacher- I knew I wanted to start a Christian girls club at my school. My teacher had a agreed to be the sponsor. Then, I went to ask the principal, to make sure it was all right. She loved the idea, but she wasn't sure the school board would approve. It took a couple of months for the school board to make their final decision. And miraculously - they said yes! My friends were on board too! They wanted to step up and make a difference for Jesus with me! It took us about a month to get everything ready. I was named President, and I decided on the name Pure Heart Girlz. We would meet every other Wednesday after school for an hour. And we would start on January 26th. We put posters up all around the school. We even got it on the morning news! A crowd of 30 girls at our first meeting was really good for our small town. We played games, put on a skit, had snacks, prizes, a lesson, and fellowship! And the girls loved it for the rest of the year! These girl's lives were changed after they came to Pure Heart Girlz! God used me - and he can use you too!
