This is me...

Hi my name is victoria an i am 19 years old.Self esteem, i wish i had some! When i see beautiful women on television and magazines i feel so low about myself! i do very much wish that i was beautiful like them. Sure they might be fake, and people do alot to celebrity photos to look that way....but do guys see that? no they just like it! I dont know what to do anymore. My self esteem is shot and i just wish i wasnt me.Us women shouldnt haveto feel this way. I hope this isnt stupid and other wonen feel like i do.... i dont want to be alone! Thanks for listening!


Whats inside is what counts and i hope that all women out there are listening to what i haveto say! Dont feel down like i do... dont let celebrities get ya down. I wish i didnt feel this way!

God is truly amazing

I happened upon this site when looking up scriptures about beauty. I realize this sight is for teens, but that doesn't mean that the older crowd doesn't struggle with some of the same issues that teens do. I'm 27 years old. My biggest struggle in my life has always been my self-esteem. I was a late bloomer in high school, went through the "ugly-duckling" stage during adolescence. But at 27, I have been told by friends and family alike that I am absolutely gorgeous. However, I struggle so much to see that because the girl from 10 years ago hangs with me, and when I look in the mirror, that is who I see staring back at me. I have a wonderful husband and adores me and tells me all the time that I have no reason to get hung about about the girls on TV or models in magazines because I AM as beautiful as them, if not more so. So Victoria, happening upon your blog today is so GOD to me it blows my mind. I see your picture, and you are drop dead gorgeous. You look like you could be a model. And I realized, you are me and I am you. We are both gorgeous women who are being beat up on and oppressed by the enemy. But no more! We need to stand up and take the satan goggles off to see the truth. That if everyone tells us we are beautiful, and most importantly, if our creator tells us we are beautiful, then we ARE and we need to start listening! I may only be 12 but i know how you feel. Almost all of the girls have work done because they won't accept how God made them. That is sad. I think you look fine and God thinks you look great too.
