i can't believe in God


hey... i've been trying so hard to believe in God but i can not it's been so hard cos i really want to but i can't and when i do try to spend time with him my mind just goes else where and then the guilt kicks in. I been getting saved for years now and i'm really sad and i compre myself to other people and it hurts so much cos i feel worthless. Please help me...xoxo Minnie

Have you tried listening to Christan music and praising God through song? That's one thing that I do when I can't think clear enough to really concentrate on a conversation with God. I also pray when I have something to say. God hears quick short prayers just like He hears the longer ones. It can be as simple as saying "Help me, Lord", or "God, You are so good!" or even "Lord, help me to believe in You." God hears all prayers. In fact Jesus said when we pray we shouldn't ramble on. God already knows what's in your heart.

As far as comparing yourself to others, that will always make you feel bad, because no matter what, you will never have their walk with God. But also, you are only seeing what's on the surface. They have struggles with their faith too, not everyone is humble enough to admit where they struggle though. You are a very humble woman, and God is doing great things in you. I would say that you are on the right path. Keep looking to God, He won't let you down!
