I cant wait any more.

I met a guy that became a good friend of mine he was a good christian guy and my mom really liked him. That was almost 4 years ago. i moved away we talked to each other on the phone for 2 of those years but we lost contact and i miss him so much.

I have had my share of boyfriends since then. They just made me feel special because i was liked by someone that wasnt my parents. I dont know how to contact him now that he may have forgotten me. For a wile i was angry at god because he took a good guy figure out of my life. I got over that fact and tried to like someone else and forget about him but i think about all the time especially when i need a guy to be there for me. i cry alot thinking about him and i cant stop. but i want to know if hes the guy i am saving my self for, or if i should just move on. I meet this guy last week that reminds me of him and i cant wait for God to show me the way. I wait but i cant help but think about it all the time. I dont know if i can wait any more.

Love, you need to get your focus off of not only this guy, but boys in general. I'm so glad to hear that you're saving yourself and that you're seeking God about relationships, but you can't just sit around pining away for a guy to fulfill your life! Be the young lady that God created you to be, seek Him first and let Him take care of the rest.

I've been in your position before, and something that really helped me change my perspective was the book, "Lady in Waiting," by Jackie Kendall and Debby Jones. Please consider reading this book! My prayers are with you. God bless.

Thanks for sharing Amanda ;-) I know this may be hard to hear right but some people are only in our lives for a season, some longer and we can't be certain of which anyone who comes into our lives will be. Ask God to pour over you with His good and perfect peace and to heal you from any hurts you may have right now. Draw near to God and let His love cover you and fill any voids. And keeping praying - God IS faithful, His ways are good and His timing is perfect - Trust in Him, He will bless you with an answer.....
