i dont understand

When i am with my friends, sometimes i feel so lonely, like no-body really understands me.

But i always hide it under a different exterior and i dont know why!

I might say "everything's OK" when its not or "No" when i really mean "yes"

Also currently, my friends have been pairing up together and i feel so left out.
For example, in subject you need to get into groups of two and my two friends would immediately pair up. I always think Ive done something wrong to them, but no matter how hard i rack my brains, i find nothing.

And final question, should i like anyone if basically the guys(95%)are all attracted to one popular, pretty girl?

Half of these guys are only attracted to the 'popular girl' because she's the popular girl, its more the fact they cant have her,and they enjoy the thrill of the chase!![and thats a little known secret!!]
Its not a crush that builds a meaningfull relationship its common ground.
My guess as to why you say no when you mean yes-and vise versa,is because your a very private person and inside you dont really want anyone to know the real you,if you give honest answers then you will be faced with questions and feelings that your not ready to deal with.
Dont take it personally that these girls dont include you when it comes to pairing up-maybe they think that you prefer to be left alone cause thats the image your portraying? Just subtly let them know that you do want to be included in their activities,thats probablly all it will take,also be honest with them about how your feeling-this will both mean a lot to them and help them understand you better,you can share your secrets with them....its okay,thats what best friends do they unburden each other.

Do you feel like no one cares to understand you or do you feel like you're so different that people can't understand you? I was kind of a loner in junior high and high school. I only had one close friend, but I didn't feel like she even knew me. As I got older I learned to embrace how unique and original I was. I never tried to be anyone else or to make myself fit into any other group because I was confident in who I was and I liked me. Friends will come and go, so you can't get too caught up in pleasing them. Explore your talents and interests and learn to enjoy time with yourself. Nowadays I can't go anywhere without knowing someone! When people began to see me as a confident young woman, they wanted to be my friend! It's weird how it works that way...

I think the same idea applies to guys... they're attracted to confidence.

Dear Anna,
As a teenager, it is absolutely normal to feel lonely inside. Everyone does face this but some people try to cover it up by having all the fun they can imagine. But when the night falls and all is quiet there is a loneliness that nothing can quench. We are young and just trying to come to grips with the reality of life. There are a thousand and one thoughts, questions, fears and doubts running through our minds. It's okay to feel no one understands. But here is the good part. It will pass. It is just a phase. It will pass. I'm guessing you're in your early teens? I'm in my late teens and I still struggle with my emotions and feelings. But the loneliness is gone and the emptiness I once knew has been replaced with joy and peace. The reason for that is because Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life. He is my everything. His loves fills my heart. And His life floods my spirit. Since HE took control of my life, I have never been the same. He took my old life of sin, depression, emptiness and gave me new life--His life. I'm His now and for eternity. Even when no one else understands me, My dear Lord does! He loves me to bits. I know it because HE keeps telling me that. HE satisfies every longing of my heart. Whether I have a hundred friends or none doesn't matter anymore-- I've got Him! Whether I have a boyfriend or not doesnt matter anymore coz I Have Jesus!
Anna, you too can have Jesus in your life. Just ask Him. He loves you too.
