I got it bad and it hurts

So recently i've developed a crush on a guy, and i really like him, and its just pure, i mean nothign dirty, just pure, and i prayed about it,but i said, that if its Gods will something will happen, if it not then thats fine too, but im still kind of hurting, i feel as if no others boy compare to him, i know someone that likes me but its just soemthign about him, i dont know if its his inner light or what, but its somethings that amazes me about him, and i know that not everything we want is part of God's plan for us,but my overall question is, does he let small things like crushes happens for a reason? Do we meet people for a reason? does he keep us from hurting when somethings not part of his will but if we still want it? I'm hurting right now and im not sure why.

I understand, crushes are hard! I think God allows us to have crushes, and we can learn from them. That person may never marry you, but you should try and recognize what it is you like about this person, then you can distinguish what you want in a husband, i know i just went from crushes to husbands, but that's really what it leads to doesn't it? :) And then, the qualities in this guy may be things you want in a friend, be his friend. It will strengthen your relationship with guys if you make friends with the guys you have crushs on, (as long as they're christian). Crushes are hard, and sometimes they hurt because we don't understand why we have them, it's good ur praying about it! I'll pray for ya!

I totally understand whsat your going through and yes it hurts and its tough. I recomend you read these christian books called, Dateable, The Truth About Guys, The Dirt on Breaking Up. They totally help you understand what your going through, why its happening, and what the guy is really thinking. They are great books and have really helped me. To answer your question, yes I think God does put crushes in our lives for a reason. We all go through a hormonal time in lives and are attracted to guys in a way we have never felt before. Enjoy the journey, and learn from it :)
