i used to see this boy at my school we were not going out, he really liked me in i like him. but then i started to get bored... we didnt talk in school but we did IM each other all the time. i started to get annoyed and ignored him, for the whole of the summer holidays. but then wen we came back to school he acted uninterested so that made me like him again. then he told me he liked my best friend and of course i was jealous but i didnt tell him, they were seeing each other for a while nd then he told me there was someone else. it hurts to see him and this girl together.. he still talks to me and tells my friends he still likes me but something isnt rite.. i think im in love with him its like i need him to look at me and his smile is just addictive, i need help, i need to know what to do next... please help me i hurt so much

If you're anything like I was when I was your age, your thoughts are almost always centered around a guy. Not only do you analyze (sometimes over-analyze) every interaction you had with him and every word that he said, but you fantasize about what it'd be like to be with him....all the time.

If that's the case, I understand why this is hurting you so much, but I'd like to encourage you to try something...

Right now, this boy is the object of your affection, so when you don't feel that he's into you or you see him with someone else, it has a huge impact on your emotions. I mean, he has your heart and he doesn't even realize what he's doing to it! If you're nodding your head right now because this describes how you feel... you're too involved!

Take a step back and detach yourself from the idea of being in a relationship with this guy. Take your heart back! Don't focus on him and how you can make him jealous by showing that you're not interested, because that's just hurtful and ungodly. Just focus on you and God. Fix your eyes on the One who will never stop loving you! You know, because He loves you, He's got your back concerning this situation. All you have to do is trust HIM instead of the boy... This guy will continue to let you down, but God won't!

The comment that was made before this was is absolutely true...but oh-so-hard!!! I'm in the middle of a BAD crush (not unhealthy...but very big. :D ) right now. When I fall for a guy, I fall hard. Try and remember that God has a very special plan for you! If this is the guy He's got picked out for you, then things will eventually work out. Read Jerimiah 29:11 If not he's not God's plan, then you WILL eventually get over him. I know that seems crazy and harsh right now...but do something for me. Remember a former crush. What are your feelings for that guy now? Anyways, this is longer than I intended but I just wanted to say I understand, I know it's hard and I'm sorry. :( **hugs** for you.
