i miss him

My dad abandones me when i was 10 and now im 14 i miss him soooooooooo much i wish he was in my life but know hes in Narth Carolina i wish i could live with, or even see him, i live with my mother and step father, that is sabart me now and thats not fair because my dad should and i live in wa,I MISS HIM!what should i do my mom say i should forget about him but i just can ,and it been 4 years

In God's Perfect Timing

I'm so sorry that your father is unable to be in you life at this time. I know how hard it can be and how there is a hole in your heart where only he fits so I ask the Lord to bring you and your father together one day and while you are waiting for that day when you will be reunited may God give you the peace you need, may He make you whole and complete. May God heal the wound that was inflicted when your dad left and may he speak to your dad's heart about the importance of being involved in your life, may He also provide your mother with compassion and understanding and with wisdom on how to help you deal with not being able to be around your dad and for so long. I believe you will get to be with him again one day, it will all happen in God's perfect timing but while you are waiting for this time to come reflect on Psalm 68:5 that reads, "God is a Father to the fatherless" and take comfort in Him.
