IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT

I stand up and i begin to sing your praise.

Others are around me, they lift up Your name as well.
A warm sensation and exhilaration fills my soul.
I am made aware of You... so aware.I can feel Your presence.
I lift my hands to my side and forget about what people may think.
When i lift my hands to You..you reach to me..
I can feel You take hold of my hands!
I move my hands a little ways back and forth.. You are still holding them.
I rejoice!
Then after a while, Your grasp is a little less detectable..
No! please, do not go! do not leave yet, Lord!
Then i feel you let go.
Please come back! do not leave me, Father!
Then tears begin to roll down my checks and i long for that moment again..
But, then i laugh through my tears and think, " Lord, how could i be so stupid, do I not Know you are always with me? You are..oh, Lord, You are..even when i can not feel You with me.
Thank you, Lord..
I rejoice!
I keep singing praise and lifting up my heart and hands..
I lift up my hands higher reaching out..
Now, I can feel my Father holding my hands in His once again..
Oh, how wonderful..
I pray everyone experiences You in the way I am right now.. and will hopefully Experience even greater.. growing in faith and pressing on toward the prize You have Called us heavenward.
A warm sensation and exhilaration fills my soul;
It is the Holly Spirit.

This is awesome, Darby. Very nice point about recognizing He's still there even when you can't feel Him. That's so crucial. I love these kinds of mountaintop experiences with God and like yourself long for more of them (for myself and others). Great job of putting it into words:) Love your heart.

On a side note: Have you heard Flyleaf's "All Around Me"? It also gives a great description of this kind of encounter with the Lord.

Hi!

I felt the Holy Spirit holding my hands. In a praise and worship, I let Him fully hold my hand. He lifted my Hands up High.
