I would love to see a generation of young girls experience true beauty. I have recently been given the task to teach a class of young girls 11-14, while on the quest for the teaching material I came across "Living as a Young Woman of God" by Jen Rawson. I was so excited I could hardly contain my joy. God had shown me what I had been looking for years earlier. I had found what I was trying to teach these girls. Well one thing led to another, my daughter Ashton, has decided to change her Senior project to "Self Esteem" and the issues it causes with girls and women, and "Who God says the perfect woman is and who our culture tells us she is." Now we are planning a mother/daughter day at church, to expose the lies our girls are believing. In my search for information and trying to become more educated, I at times, have been very excited and motivated and scared to death wanting to quit for fear that I have taken a bit more than I can handle, then God reminds me that He's got this I just need to be willing, so here I am again searching for more information when I entered your website. I am so excited to see others have the same vision to Expose the truth, uncover the lies that we as women believe. Satan has used lies to control women since the earth was created. When he lied to Eve and convinced her to eat the apple and he has not let up since. I have not yet decided on a challenge. I will pray over the choices and get back with you. I will share these challenges at the mother/daughter conference in March.
