Life - I don't want to live

What do I do if I don't want to live anymore...if I am 16 and everyone thinks I am going to have a baby. I don't know how to do anything any more!

Thank you for contacting us and being honest about where you're at right now. I want you to know you aren't alone and that I prayed for you today.

The picture I got when I read your submission was of a candle brightly shining and then is snuffed out. It sounds like something in your life has snuffed out the light of "hope" in your life right now.

And I want to let you know that although you may feel in darkness right now, Jesus is standing there offering His light to you. Do you know Him or have any spiritual belief?

I would also recommend that you talk to a trusted adult in your life about how you're feeling right now. This is something to take seriously. If you ever feel like you need to talk to someone and no one is around, there are suicide hotlines you can call.

Dear Shanese,

I want you to know that God wants me to tell you that He loves you. He loves you so very much He died for you. He protects you, cares for you, comforts you, covers you and satisfies you.

He knows what you are going through right now, and He will definitely help you through it. Have you talked to the Father? Ask Him for help.

"The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him"
Nahum 1:7

Besides talking to a trusted adult, I hope that you find your way to a local church. You see, God wants you to get to know Him. You can start by going to church, reading the Bible, making Christian friends who really love you and care for you.

Even though I may not know what you are going through, and I may not understand, God knows and God understands. Do you believe that? This experience will make you stronger than ever if you learn to lift up your troubles to God. You will survive, Shanese.

People in the world may treat you badly, they may hate you, they may misunderstand you and accuse you of things. But there is help.

Do you know how much the Father has done for you, he gave His life for your sake. He forgives any wrongs that you have done before and says, My child, I love you.

Come to the Father today, because He truly cares for you.

I heard you and I am listening and I will be praying for you. I don't know what you are going through, but I have a very good friend who has been through the same thing. God has used her life in a very big way. If you want to talk to someone who has been through the same thing, my friend would be willing to talk to you. I will pray that God will give you the strength to lean on him during this time. The best thing you can do is surround yourself with people who care and be honest with them. Please let me know if you would like to contact my friend. She is very willing to talk if you need to.

hey i know having a baby can be a scary things, but listin having a baby will probably be the biggest blessing you will ever recieve. if your scared turn to God, dont let the devil get the best of you. your bringing a new life into the world dont let the devil take that or your life away from you. you can do this..i tried to comit suicude last summer and i was about to take away the greatest gift God gave us..life.
