Mom and teen daughters

It is a difficult topic. I am still praying and growing in this area but I do believe there must be some objective truth about what is truly modest in swimwear.

For now, I thank God that as we are beginning this journey we are in a world of rash guards, swim skirts, and swim shorts. We are also in a world that worries about sunburn and skin cancer. Our family, is fair. So, it seems, we have both medical and spiritual reasons to strive for a little more cover in our swimwear (Aaaah, God knows me so well!! He usually uses both to convict me!!)

If you google Coolibar you get all sorts of modest ideas because it is a site devoted to suits that help prevent skin cancer. They are pricey too...but it is encouraging to know that there are businesses moving in the modest direction...even if the reasons are medical!

Rash guards are great though we are finding we need tankini tops underneath because there is just not enough modest coverage for the front!!

Our modesty group is making up "Blue Ribbon Fashion Awards" Just little business cards to place on the counter when making our purchases that read..
