My sister cuts, and I need help.

My older sister has started cutting her wrist. She has a daughter and a husband. I do not know why she does this but she needs to stop. I do not know how to help her. Nobody knows this but me, so I will not be able to share any names. But I fear for her life, if she cuts to deep won't she die? And if she does I will be devastated. This topic stresses me out. She has a daughter! I just don't understand or know what to do. Does anyone out there have advice for me, or her. What can I do to help her? It is going to tear our family apart. Please help. -Thank you.
