This is a really tough topic, I know - I spent at least two hours today trying to find a modest swimsuit, but to no avail. When I was in high school and had access to a sewing machine, I cut up a camisole and used pieces of it to cover up parts of an almost modest one-piece suit. But since then I have moved away from the sewing machine my mom used and I don't have one of my own, so until I have the money to buy a machine I have to make do with what I can find in stores.


When I am confronted with a tough choice like this, the question I ask myself is, would I personally feel comfortable in the presence of God in what I am wearing? After all, this life is ultimately a journey to become like Him; it's all about your personal relationship with Him and coming as close to being like Him as you possibly can. I most definitely wouldn't feel comfortable in His presence in a bikini, or anything low-cut in the top or bottom, and so I apply that to whatever I wear.

but these are truly modest swimsuits...

Well I feel perfectly comfortable in the presence of God wearing a bikini, so I guess it's a little more subjective than you want to think it is dearie.
