My Tips.

I'm a Baptist teenager, and my moms standards for modesty are strict; no pants, no tank tops, no skirts or dresses that go above the knee while sitting, no slits, etc. But that does not mean I have to dress frumpy!

I find it fun finding ways to dress modestly, while still looking modern, and I hope you enjoy my tips!

1.Sew up that slit!
If your skirt has a slit, sew it up! However, sewing it up may make your skirt to tight. If this is the case, sew some matching fabric underneath! This can look really cool.

2.Can't top the tank top!
Tank tops are a must-have for dressing modestly. You can layer, cover up low neck lines, and hide your bra straps with tank tops. Have one in each colour.

2.The slip tip.
A slip is another must have. If your dress or skirt is too sheer, simply slip on a slip! If you have a light coloured skirt on that is see through, wear a black slip and vise versa.
3. You can still get that tank top or strapless dress you love; just top it with a jacket or a cute shrug for a cute look!

4. Shop at thrift stores.
Almost all my clothing is from thrift stores.Thrift shopping can help you find great clothing, and it also unleashes your creative side!

5.Stay warm with leggins!
I often hear girls complain about skirts being too cold in the winter. If that's the case, just wear a thick pair of leggings underneath your skirt!

6. Last but not least, pray!
It pleases God when we dress modestly, but God understands that we want to look nice too; it's part of our nature. He understands that its hard to find nice modest clothing, and He can help!
