Nothing to do with Being Religious

Why does it have to be about God and being Christian? My desire for modesty has nothing to do with being religious. I cannot understand why people walk around in bikinis - often more revealing than the typical Hanes briefs underwear for example. What I hate most is the high cut one-pieces. Why do I have to "groom" my private region to go out in public? The idea is so preposturous I've never understood this aspect of western society. Why can men just put on a pair of boxers? Sorry for the anonymous rant, but I found this site when getting frustrated with being unable to find a modest swimsuit.

Dear Annonymous,

Modesty doesn't have to be about religion, however for many it is our religion that convicts us of immodesty. Things that I viewed as modest before I came to Christ I look at differently now. Granted I was never comfortable in bikini's, but my conviction is much deeper now. So while it doesn't HAVE to be about beliefs or religion, it most certainly can be.
