This is rather comical because every christian woman I have ever seen, mostly the Duggars, NEVER cut their hair. Why is this? They have long hair always. Someone told me they believe their hair brings them strength. Why are they so ashamed of their bodies? It's what God gave them. They are born naked. Adam and Eve were naked. Why allow people to make you feel ashamed of your body? Crazy!!

I agree completely with EMMers but there is one thing you said on which EMMers did not touch on.

It is not crazy. God did make us naked but as soon as Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil their eyes were opened and they were ashamed. Ever since sin entered, we are supposed to cover our bodies. It helps in not being a stumbling block for our brothers in Christ.

I think you misunderstand the reason they want long hair. You see, it's not the fact that they are ashamed of their bodies, they just love their hair. My little sister didn't want to cut her hair for the longest time, she just loved the beautiful thing God had given her. The Bible says a women's hair is her crown, and her head covering, not that she can't cut it. I believe the Duggers just like their hair long, it looks respectful, it makes it obvious you believe in feminity. And you can do so many things with long hair, it's not shameful when you wear long hair in beautiful ringlets, or braids, or buns with curls, it's beautiful! :) And besides, most guys like it! I don't think they feel at all ashamed of their bodies, they just love their hair! :)
