Realized i was wrong . . . . . .

Hi, i am a girl who became a christian when i was 6, but never really understood that you have to have a relationship with Christ. I thought that when i got saved that was my insurance, i thought that for years. Then i started reading these Kids series of books called Left Behind, i realized that Jesus was coming soon and that i knew i wasn't ready. So i devoured myself in the bible, and then i was not doing it right. I talked to God, and i asked him to help me. Later i went to camp and i learned that Jesus is my Best Friend, and if you treat him badly he is still going to stick with you even though he is hurt, he still loves you. I also learned that you need to feed your souls and that you need to do it by reading the word, i was doing it but i didn't feel it. Now I want to be a christian because i want to be Gods best friend.

i have learned that over the ears too and am still learning
i think that one of the things that i have learned to most is that God is such a forgiving God but unfortunatly we take advantage of him
something i am still trying to work on

also my pastor was preaching on sunday about god's grace which give us his love and forgiveness
the bible says that we all fall short of the glory of God but our pastor also opened to our mind to another concept which is
"making sure not to fall short of the Grace of God"
when he said that he was basically saying that if we dont value god's grace then we will not be allowing god to to move in our lives the way he wants to move
thats just something to help get you deeper into comprehending who god really is... a Great and gracefull God who loves us unconditionally

Nicole, what a wonderful journey you're about to go on - to be God's best friend! How cool is that?!? The LORD has to be blessed by your heart's desire to be called His friend.

Precious, continue on this worthwhile quest; go to a bible study that teaches you how to read and understand His Word. That way you will know how to apply it to your life. That in turn will affect your daily life decisions. In short, the Word becomes real.

Psalm 139, Jeremiah 1, Ephesians 1 and I John 5 are good scriptures to study because they point you to purpose. Those scriptures, precious, helps you to discover what God's assignment is for your life - It can help you get an understanding of why you were born and His Word has the power to give you the strength to stand against peer pressure or anything that would try to deter you from the right path you have so wisely chosen to take at such an early age. (Wow, your parents must be so proud!)

Before the world was even created Nicole, God knew you, ordained you and because of your purpose, He created this world for your calling to be realized. You are here at this time because we need what He put in you. Continue to study His Word for It has the power to empower you to make right choices.

My oh my, what great things our faithful God has planned for you; what a beautiful testimony and what a wonderful witness you are!
