The Life of a Wannabe

I am an 8th grader and I am just beginning to find myself. I live in a world where fashion and popularity are everything!!! I am popular but I'm one of the girls that everybody talks about behind your back and the girl that none of the guys like.


But I realized that God has my life planned and he wants me to do what he says. I am beginning to realize that if you hang out with the girls that are into bad things and say bad things, you know you've went the wrong way.

But God is taking me the right way and I feel so much closer to him. I will pray everyday and remember that he died on the cross for us.....he gave his life for us and nothing will ever change that.

Thanks so much for sharing. School can be rough at times and there is a lot of back-biting that can take place there but I think that it’s great you realize God has a plan for your life and that you understand the need to be obedient to Him. I also agree with you on hanging out with the wrong crowd; Though sometimes our positive attitudes and living our lives as a reflection of Jesus can really benefit people you are hanging around we tend change into people of our environments and if you find yourself doing the inappropriate things of the crowd it’s time to move on. It’s awesome that you're growing closer to God and He recognizes your heart, He has began a good work in you that isn’t finished yet but you have already started to notice changes by becoming more mature. I'll be praying for your continued guidance!
