and men too but not so much. there are so many beauty products out there for women and there are so many ads out there for them. i would have no problem if they put up pictures of REAL women that are very beautiful as long as they are naturally beautiful. like audrey hepburn. i think shes probably the most beautiful woman to have ever lived and she's my role model because she hasn't done anything to alter herself to achieve her looks. she's classy and stylish. after seeing this video i thought it was unfair tht ppl displayed the altered picture of that woman as the image of "beauty" because the look is almost unattainable due to the fact that it is NOT REAL. i hate FAKE images of ppl. barbie dolls r pretty, but they have a negative influence on young girls because they start to want to have this barbie look and it's impossible. these dolls will bring down self esteem. why cant they make them at least vaguely proportional?? i read somewhere that if barbie was a person, she's b anorexic, 8 ft tall, and have a neck twice the size of an average person's. waaattt???? that doesn't even come close to representing the image of a woman, and to make that the "ideal" image? that's not right. it might take some time to change the constant stream of influence to be thin and perfect from the media but i have faith that it will happen and that when it does, we'll all be happy :)
