Turning Poison into Medicine

I feel compelled to reach out and something with you because I've been there. What helps me is to turn poison into medicine. I strongly believe that there is a lesson to be learned with every trial we face.


Adversity and difficult circumstances is something each one of us will face. I've decided to allow God to turn the poison, that Satan meant to harm me, into medicine.

God is with us now and always

how? please, how? I forgave him before he was done, I forgave him every time, he didn't know what he was doing. I couldn't talk to God, and even now, years latter, I have trouble speaking to Him. I get in these ruts where I just fall right back into the dark self loathing thoughts. I'm in one of those ruts right now and I just don't want God to look at me. I have been reading the Word, but I guess I just don't get it. I know this was not in my life by accident, what if i came to know God because of it? Something so good, my salvation, a result of something so ugly? Maybe...probably so, but God, I just absolutely HATE myself sometimes. I feel so dirty, I feel so gross and disgusting. You see me as white as snow, clean, my purity is renewed in You're sight...but how can it be God? I never want to be touched again in my life. I don't trust anyone. I am so lonely, but I don't want anyone to touch my heart or my body EVER again. God, I am so lonely, but all people look like pain to me. Be my strength God. You are my strength! I will take comfort in You, I pray that I will learn to listen to You at all times so that I cando Your will. You have a plan for me God. My life is not over, I will not feel this way for forever. I know this is not for forever. God, thank You for being with me now when I am otherwise alone. Let me be obedient to You in all, and help me to open my heart to Your love and grace. I cannot understand these gifts God, but thank You. Help me grow, help me know You.
