I'm happy with myself, and my flaws.

I'm currently doing a paper on the media's effect. I believe that girls should be told that this image is not real. I had watched a video of a already very stunning model, what I would consider stunning. I later saw her face on the computer being completely editied. I thought to myself , why, why does she need to be editied she was flawless. I later saw the finishing touches. The face that I used to look in the mirror and ask why don't i look like that. I know realize why i dont' look like that, it's because it doesn't exsist.

you're right, 99% of the time, it doesn't exist. really, the only time i think it kinda exists, is for those who completely starve themselves to be that perfect "size 0" and even then, they need to be "fixed" b/c their skin is pale, so they need make-up, their hair is dull and dry, so they need something done with it, they're way too bony, so they need something done about that, so i guess when i think about it that way it really doesn't exist. and it shouldn't have to exist, b/c what i'm learning, is that we're all different--different sizes, shapes, different personalities, different skin colors, eye colors, hair colors, etc,etc. but thats a good thing b/c think about it, how boring would this world be if we were all the same
