Any lustful thoughts, physical touches or caressing are all part of sexual desires. Sexual temptation is one sinful act that it is so easy to fall prey to, which is why the bible says FLEE from all sexual temptation.

The society we live in uses SEX as a means of selling products, it is broadcast on our media set, it is acceptable to fornicate with multiple partners and being a virgin is simply not cool, in fact people tend to feel sorry for you (what an irony)

It is possible to remain a virgin before marriage however it is not an easy process but God who sees your heart can guide you, however you have to ensure you avoid being in any setting or situation which may cause you to sin.

Be accountable to someone more spiritual than you, let them know your whereabouts with the other person. Avoid being alone together, go out as a group. It is very important not to date an unbeliever, this is the key place to begin you cannot be of the world and not act like them. If you are dating an unbeliever you will soon find yourself yielding to their lies and deceit (im not saying does who call themselves Christians do not lie, you need to seek the Holy Spirit for wisdom when choosing a spouse)

I believe God knew what he was doing when he asked us to save sex for marriage, it is definitely for our good and not to deny us of any pleasure. He knows what his best for us, for he made us and created sex surely he knows our desires.
